KUWAIT: Cabinet approved to increase operational capacity of Kuwait International Airport from 7,500 to 10,000 arrivals per day as requested by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) reported Alrai and Alanba Arabic dailies citing the sources. The cabinet approved direct entry of passengers from India, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka earlier and DGCA was waiting to implement the same after increasing the operational capacity. The allocated numbers will be shared among Kuwait Airlines, Jazeera Airways and national carriers of approved countries.
