KUWAIT: Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued a notification to Indian authorities allowing 2,839 passengers to Indian Airline operators per week for direct travel from India. Weekly allocation to Kuwait operators, such as Kuwait Airways and Jazeera Airways will be 1,307 and 1,382 passengers respectively as per the letter issued today to Ministry of Civil Aviation, India.
It’s also stated in the letter that, Council of Ministers, State of Kuwait has approved their request to operate regular flights between India and Kuwait. As India extended ban on international flights until September 30, the Air Bubble agreement will be facilitating to resume direct flights from India to Kuwait.
Later today, Jazeera Airways started to accept booking of flight tickets from different Indian cities scheduled from next Wednesday for a price ranging from 170,000 to 220,000 Indian Rupees. Large number of residents are expecting reduced ticket prices while the Kuwait and Indian national carriers are due to announce their schedules from India to Kuwait.
